Alan Zaslove, (b.1927), is a retired California artist, photographer, producer, and director.

Mr. Zaslove was among the first directors hired at Disney Television Animation.
He arrived during the division's second year of operation, and over the next decade and a half directed and produced an array of hit Disney TVA shows that included Duck Tales, Aladdin, The Return of Jafar, and Thea Adventures of the Gummi Bears.

He retired at the end of the 1990s, but was soon called back by Universal Cartoon Studios to oversee "The New Woody Woodpecker Show". He retired for good in the first decade of the 21st century. Zaslove started in 1943 as an office boy for Leon Schlesinger's studios, and went on to later work for United Productions of America.

Alan Zaslove created animation for Gerald McBoing-Boing and Mr. Magoo; and later did work for Hanna Barbera, and Disney TV series. He also co-created Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, with Tad Stones. He shares Daytime Emmy Award nominations for his animation work.

Alan Zaslove's very distinctive original paintings, and charcoal portraits, show heavy influences from biomorphic surrealism; (such as Francis Bacon). One of a group of paintings by the artist, dated in the mid to late 1960s. Excellent, progressive work; his subject appears in movement; which as his photographs, leaves one with the impression of the sitter in an alternate reality.
