American German Dusseldorf School Albert Bierstadt Hudson River School Original Sierra Nevada Lake and Mountains Luminous California Landscape Antique Oil Painting

Realist landscape of Sierra Nevada Lake, and mountains in the German Dusseldorf School of Art in a Hudson River style, attributed to German American artist, Albert Bierstadt. The detail is amazing; landscape is luminous, and breathtaking. Painting is an oil on canvas, and measures approximately 17" X 22". The painting was cleaned of old varnish, and still has a small bit of darkened varnish in the sky , that could be cleaned to be perfect. Painting has been examined by an art auction house for further research. Painting was estimated to have been painted approximately 1885. Painting is in good, and all over stable condition.
