Estimate age is at 1959; (there is also, a bit difficult to see, lower middle, where the year appears to be handwritten into the paint, as well)
Painting is signed on the bottom edge of the painting “EC”, and in a place approximately 8 inches to the left, “EF” To the right is a bit smeared; the year '69 has been written/stamped on the bottom, center edge, near signature.
There is a stamp on reverse of the stretcher bars, of a artist supply company, in California
Painting is in good original condition. There is a small pressure dent, upper right corner; and a few places where it is unknown if it is the variation in the paint, or possible light scuffs. The upper middle had a previous small tear that has been patched; (see reverse), and a smaller one, lower portion. All paint is original. There have been no overpaints; only the patches. There may need to be restorations to cover the upper portion, where the small tear is still visible, along the thin tear crack, in paint. Please review all images.
