Peggi Kroll- Roberts is an artist known for her diverse subjects, including still life, landscapes, European scenes, animals, and figurative works. Her artistic focus lies in the exploration of color and the striking contrast between different shapes. Whether capturing the vibrant sunlight on children playing at the beach or portraying a dramatic still life with a bright slab of butter on a red plate, she seeks to depict moments of pause in everyday life.
Peggi Kroll Roberts received her training at Arizona State University and the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Initially working as an illustrator, she later transitioned to fine art. Currently, she resides in Northern California's Sierra Nevada foothills, living with her husband, artist Ray Roberts, and their three children on a small ranch surrounded by horses, chickens, cats, and dogs. Her studio, a converted storage building, is heated by a wood stove. While most of her work is painted from life, she occasionally incorporates photographs into her plein-air paintings.
Throughout her career, Peggi Kroll Roberts has participated in numerous exhibitions and showcases. Some notable exhibitions include the "25th Anniversary Celebration" at Mark Sublette Medicine Man Gallery in Tucson, AZ in 2017, the "4th Annual Small Works Show and Sale" at Mark Sublette Medicine Man Gallery in Santa Fe, NM in 2012, and the "14th Annual Maynard Dixon Country" in Mt. Carmel, Utah in 2012. She has also exhibited at various venues such as the Santa Lucia Preserve in Carmel, CA, the Laguna Beach Art Museum in Laguna Beach, CA, and the Pasadena Historical Museum in Pasadena, CA.
Peggi Kroll Roberts is a member of several esteemed art associations, including the California Art Club, the American Impressionist Society, and the Oil Painters of America. Her talent and contributions to the art world have been recognized in publications such as Western Art Collector, San Jose Mercury News, Southwest Art Magazine, Bozeman Daily Chronicle, and Art Talk Magazine.

Painting has a few areas where there is very small handwriting, along the very bottom edge, in graphite.
The painting is in overall good, stable condition. There are a few areas where the paint is thinner and is unknown if this is abrasion or the artist’s intent. There are various specks throughout of tiny dots of missing paint. Please review all images as part of the painting’s description.
