Antique Art Nouveau, bronze sculpture of a little girl, in her winter coat, scarf, and little boots, by New York sculptor, Mary Eberle; (aka Abastenia St. Leger Eberle), (1878-1942).

Abastenia St. Leger Eberle (April 6, 1878 – February 26, 1942), was an American sculptor known for her energetic, small bronze sculptures depicting poor immigrants on New York's City's Lower East Side as subject matter. As an artist, Eberle had strong beliefs and felt a need for artists to create politically and socially conscious works of art that reflected current issues. Ederle spent much of her life working towards equal rights for American women and a widespread push for equality.

"The Little Girl"
Bronze sculpture of a little girl, in her winter coat, and scarf
Stamped "A", and "10" around the top edge of the left anklet sock on the sculpture, and signed "M" on the edge of the collar of the coat. Estimated to have been created in that year, 1910.
Sculpture alone is approx. 4.8”
With the attached marble stand, the sculpture measures approximately 5.5”
The sculpture is in excellent, original condition. No previous restorations have been performed
